Daily Two Cents Review: A Good Alternative to Bubblews

There are many people looking for Bubblews alternatives, and Daily Two Cents could be the perfect answer for you. It is run by the same people who run Writedge but there are a few differences to the two sites. This is certainly the one for those who like to socialise and want to do more than just write and make money online. Here is my Daily Two Cents review based on my own experiences on the site.

A Site for Making Money

This is definitely a site to go to if you want to make money writing online. In the last month alone I am already on 1,600 unique views. Considering the site pays 0.005 per unique view (or $5 per 1000 unique views), that is over $8. Now I’ve only been on the site for four months and I have just over 90 posts on the site, so that is a great amount for me.

Compared to Writedge, my views are around four times the amount. Some of this was due to a spammer sending fake traffic for a short time, but it was also due to a few people coming in with a large fan base. People checking out one post on Daily Two Cents are then checking out 10 or so more because of the social side of things.

There are also regular competitions and contests to make more money. One is for the person who posts X number post—the next one is the 5,000th post I believe. Every now and then, the admins put up a random post on Facebook with a challenge and monetary reward to encourage people to do more.

You also get to add your own affiliate links. While Amazon is the most popular, you can add whatever site you want. You can only have one self-serving link, depending on the number of words in your content. The good news is that you make 100% from the commissions on those links, or you could even send people to your own website to gain clients or customers.

Earn Points for Socialising

It’s not all about the income. The site is great for those who want to socialise, whether it is sharing on social media or commenting and making friends. There is a little pop up that appears on the right hand side that allows you to connect to your social media account (either Facebook or Twitter). From there, you earn points for various activities and have the ability to level up.

These points don’t make any money yet. However, it is possible that they will in the future. Really it’s just a great way to see if you’re active on the site. The more activity, the better it is for the longevity of the site and the search engine ranking.

Excellent Support and Customer Service

One of the best things about this Bubblews alternative site is the excellent customer service and support. Apart from the sleeping hours (for obvious reasons), the two admins are always around. When they’re not around, members of the community are around to answer as many questions as possible. There is a Facebook group and a forum where members congregate to chat, share and answer questions.

No question is too silly, and the admins never get annoyed at people asking something. Of course, you need to try out suggestions offered rather than constantly asking the same questions over and over again.

If you’ve had a problem with receiving your pay (and yes, the site really does pay on time), you can send an email and you will get a response within 24 hours. Want to know how to get more traffic? The forums and Facebook groups already have the answers, but the admins are also happy to help. There is also an email newsletter that offers tips and special gifts on a monthly basis.

Daily Two Cents May Be New but It Is Growing

That’s right. Daily Two Cents is still new, which is why there is little about it so far, especially compared to Bubblews. However, it is a growing site. I remember when there were just a handful of writers on it on a daily basis, but now there are many more and so many interesting pieces of content on the site.

It possibly helps that the minimum word count is 100 words, and it certainly seems like people are opting for that. This is the social side of the site. More people are migrating over from Bubblews and posting the type of content they would have done on that site onto this new one. However, the longer posts tend to do better for those wanting to gain more views.

The good news is that all types of posts are accepted. All that the owners want is original (not copied from elsewhere even if they are your own posts) and well-written posts. Think about your spelling and grammar!

Does this sound like a good Bubblews alternative to you? Maybe it just sounds like a good site to make money on. I definitely highly recommend Daily Two Cents and not just to make money (although that is certainly a positive). It’s a place to socialise, get to know other writers and develop your craft.
